Kampala High Court Justice Prof. Andrew Kahuki on Tuesday 25th August 2026, presided over the murder case involving former Amolatar District Speaker Ojok Denish and his co-accused, concerning the death of the late Ayoo Kenneth in 2022.
During the trial, Ojok pleaded not guilty and court went straight to entertain prosecution witnesses.
The prosecution commenced the presentation of its witnesses, with the first witness, Tonny Audio Koko al, a resident of Abutkidi in Arwotcek sub County Amolatar district, taking the stand.
The matter was subsequently adjourned to 27 August 2026 for further proceedings as the prosecution continues presenting its case.
The case remains before the court, with the prosecution expected to call additional witnesses in the subsequent proceedings.
A key prosecution witness a one Dickens Otim, with whom Ojok allegedly committed the alleged murder, is currently serving 15 years sentence after going for please bargain and turning to be prosecution witness.
Otim is yet to testify.
